Turn 3 is the classic casino-style Klondike and the game most veterans mean by “real” Solitaire. Every time you tap the stock, three cards move to the waste together and only the top one is immediately playable. To reach the card underneath you have to cycle the stock, so timing and planning matter far more than in the one-card game. It’s the tougher, more rewarding puzzle.
Because cards come off in threes, two-thirds of the stock is out of reach at any moment. Getting to the card you want means counting the waste and cycling at the right time — sometimes setting up a move several draws in advance. Win rates are lower than the one-card game, which is exactly what makes a completed Turn 3 board satisfying. New to Klondike, or want an easier ride? Try Turn 1 Solitaire first.
Turn on “Winnable games only” in Settings and every Turn 3 deal is guaranteed solvable — a real test of skill with no dead-end shuffles. The Game of the Day is always a Turn 3 puzzle, the same one for everyone, if you’d like to compare your line against the world’s.
