The Daily Solitaire Challenge

Every day we hand-pick a single Klondike deal and give it to the whole world at once. It’s the same shuffle for every player, so you and everyone else are solving the exact same puzzle — a proper shared challenge rather than a private game of luck. And because we run each daily through our winnability solver before it goes live, the day’s deal is always winnable: if you don’t finish it, it was the moves, not the shuffle.

Build your streak

Complete the daily and your day streak ticks up by one. Miss a day and it resets — so the game becomes a small, satisfying habit. Your best streak is remembered, and every day you’ve completed is marked in the archive.

Missed a few days?

No problem — the daily archive goes all the way back to the start, and you can replay any past day’s challenge from the calendar. Use the Prev and Next links in the banner above the board to step between days.

How the daily is played

The Game of the Day is always Turn 3 — three cards dealt from the stock at a time — which makes for a tougher, more thoughtful puzzle than Turn 1. The rules are otherwise ordinary Klondike: build the four foundations up by suit from Ace to King, stack the tableau down in alternating colours, and use unlimited undo to explore a line before you commit.
