Turn 1 is Klondike Solitaire at its friendliest. Each time you tap the stock, exactly one card flips to the waste — which means every card in the deck is reachable and playable in turn. Nothing is locked away behind a group of three, so far more deals work out, and the ones that don’t are usually your own doing. If you’re learning the game, or you just want a relaxed win, this is where to start.
In the three-card game, only every third stock card lands face-up and immediately playable, so two out of every three cards are temporarily stranded. Turn 1 removes that constraint entirely: you cycle the stock one card at a time and can reach anything you need. Win rates for skilled players climb well above the three-card game — many Turn 1 deals are winnable with careful play. Prefer a sterner test? Switch to Turn 3 Solitaire any time.
With “Winnable games only” switched on in Settings, every Turn 1 deal we give you is guaranteed to have a solution — so a loss is down to the moves you chose, never the luck of the shuffle. Fancy a shared puzzle instead? Everyone plays the same hand in the Game of the Day.
